ONLY INQUIRIES...

While the nation is eyeing the controversy regarding the Drug War controversy, the people still become deaf and mute until silence is broken. While the senate now is eager to know the truth, concealment becomes undisputed. While others encourage the Senator Leila Delima to controvert the allegations, the confession becomes hazy like nimbus clouds  precluded to pour its rains. While people is deceived, others become abusive?

 

While the money of the people is used for projects, others used the funds to fill their own pockets. While the peace and safety is within our reach, bluffing is in the making. While care of its inhabitants is the paramount issue to take, the conduct of unbecoming of its officials is the common subject being faced. Is it not absurd? What's going to happen to those people who trusted them? Paupers will be affected so as the minds of the Filipino children, the innocents.

 

Education indeed has its power to overcome the sad plight of the people. It can overhaul the improper values being instilled not only in the minds but in the hearts as well. However , inconsistencies, irregularities or inadequacies have poisoned the departments concerned including their instrumentality or their subsidiaries. Surreptitiously, do corruption and bribery form part in every transaction?

 

In fare observation, the new books used by our public school pupils bombarded with criticism because of the errors found therein. Aside from that, the shelf life of these new books can be compared differently with that of the old. The latter can be preserved longer than the former. The substance and the way they were bound were incongruous to the other.

 

Our school children also used the desk or the arm chairs everyday. Classrooms will be futile without these chairs. However, why these new chairs can easily be destroyed compared to the old one?

 

The Government funded the construction of classrooms in the schools or in the places where schools are to be erected throughout  the Philippines. But when a newly hired teacher occupy the assigned room, he or she has to provide for his or her own table, chair, bulletin boards,cabinets, book racks, broom stand, lavatory or even trash cans. Does the act of procuring these things form part of the requirements of the newly hired teacher for his or her own passion in teaching the pupils?

 

Companies and other juridical persons who will hire employees stated the fact that the newly graduates have problems in their written or verbal communication and other required skills for job. But if we look into the foundation of these graduates, during their elementary years, teachers of their own times had the difficulty of producing their own materials, facilities and other equipment of which apparently this is still existing. Teaching Science as a subject for example in the Elementary becomes hard if teachers teach only the theories or even conducting experiments using substitutes of the real equipment like test tubes or even  teaching them how to peep through a microscope when pupils have not  seen a functional or even a real one. How can we address the slogan " towards quality  education"?

 

Education,either at home or in school, should be strengthen. Parents form part of the values learned by their children. Schools even corrected these wrong values but in the reality, because of the environment where scrupulous are beside with these school children, they are also tempted. Surely, when they grow they will follow what they have seen for it becomes a habit.  Mistakes cannot be healed by mistakes alone. Good actuation cannot be done by a single person but involves everyone, no one is exempted. But, when will this thing happen? Only inquiries...
