NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP?

Every day we work hard in order to provide our family especially the basic needs. We work hard until we almost forget our time to sleep because we wanted to finish things for the deadlines. Hence, we have lack of sleep.

Sleep is a natural process that has been with us since mankind began (https://vt.tiktok.com/ZScFttFc/). However, this natural process is severely disrupted by our modern day lifestyle. According to @Sgsupernanny in her TikTok account, when Thomas Edison  created the lightbulb, the natural process of sleep is disrupted. She further said, that we can now keep working, playing, and entertaining ourselves. Thus, we do not give priority to our sleep anymore. Our body clock, the circadian rhythm,  will be disrupted if we don’t go back to the nature.

What are the effects of lack of sleep? @Sgsupernanny said that lack of sleep can lead to increase chances of death by 20% in 20 years; can increase the risk of developing cancer by 200%; can increase the risk of people developing heart diseases by 100% for those who sleep less than 7 hours daily; and lack of sleep can lead to obesity.

For me, she is right. Our mood changes when we have lack of sleep. Accidents may likely to happen if don’t sleep. We could not concentrate well if don’t sleep at exactly 7 to 9 hours of sleep a day. We are haggard-looking, thereby loosing the image of being fresh.

So, we need enough sleep. For sleeping is one way of strengthening our immune system.
